Based on the principle of a balanced poppet construction, the new High flow 1/4" and 1/2" pilot solenoid valves (Kv 1.5) are ideal for demanding applications in the chemical, petrochemical and oil & gas industries. These new solenoid valves meet the growing demand for direct acting valves with high reliability and low (<10 Watts cold) power consumption.
The multi-purpose 3/2 pilot valves are suitable for normally open, normally closed an universal operation, and for the selection and diversion of flow. The valves can also be used for 2/2 way operation by closing one of the ports.
Features
Reliability
The 316 stainless steel construction is resistant to highly corrosive atmospheres and special low friction seals and guiding rings eliminate sticking and provide exceptional service life.
ATEX approval
Many different solenoids are available to meet different categories, protection methods and environmental conditions. Solenoid valves comply with both the ATEX electrical and non-electrical standard for gas and dust.
High temperature
DC powered solenoid become weaker at higher ambient temperatures. 327 valves and solenoid are suitable for temperatures up to 90°C, while still allowing at least 10% voltage drop at hottest condition.
Various flow ranges
A selection of flow and power ratings is available. The relatively high Kv factors vary from approximately 0.5 up to 1.5 m3/h.
Low temperature
The balanced poppet construction with carefully selected an thoroughly tested seals results in reliable operation, even down to -40°C.
Power consumption
The special non sticking seals offer a very low friction. In combination with the balanced poppet construction this reduces the power consumption. Various power ratings are available to cover the different flow, temperature and safety requirements.
